>>1376526HSR in the Toronto > Quebec City corridor is very feasible. The area is mostly flat farmland, the major cities are neatly spaced in a single line and it's busy enough to be profitable. There's not much political will behind it though, especially as it involves 2 provinces that don't cooperate very much. Just sporadic proposals and studies that go nowhere. It's a shame, even a barebones Toronto > Ottawa > Montreal line would probably do very well.
