You can basically ignore a drivetrain like this for months. Replace chain instead of lubing it for ultimate laziness.
I rarely care for my bike. I blast the chain with lube if it looks dry and just replace it with another cheap one when it looks fucked. Steel chainrings... Friction (lol) shifting. Barely have to do shit, always works, and nothing is worth enough money to worry about. Just air up the tires once a week. Fenders will keep a ton of crud out of your chain but chainboard would be awesome to have
