Copied Mike Cotty's route which has around 20 mountain passes. Bit longer than this route as I went from Venice Airport (Marco polo) to Geneva Airport. On the racing bike, unsupported and just had a saddlebag with evening clothes. Some would call it credit card touring because its staying in motels each night... I would agree!
Did it in 10 days with a relatively flat and short day 1 and day 10. Hardest day was the Bernina Pass: the sun and the mountain were both relentless and merciless. Most spectacular day was doing the Stelvio and the Gavia in the same ride.
