The studies that show a correlation between seats and numbness/pain/reduced blood flow also show that seats with a valley in the middle reduce the effect more than anything else. Wider seats are also good. Overly soft seats are bad because the sit bones (which should take 98% of the weight) sink into them and some load is transferred to soft tissue areas, aka the taint. Pic related is a decent general riding seat. I don't know what it's called. I'm not trying to sell something like you. I just grabbed the first seat image I found that looked ideal. The point is to get a seat that doesn't allow pressure to be applied to the perineum.
