Ok, so I installed my own pedals recently, and got to fuck my cranks. They stripped the cranks very badly, lbs used the tool to try and make new threads but it really looks fucked. Guy gave me another week of riding before it goes to total shit.
However, the pedals themselves look 100% ok yet.
Should I get a replacement cheapo (sunrace, for example) crank? This is a very simple bike of mine, so I don't really plan on spending on it currently. Not sure if it's worth it, or if I should just shoot for a sensah kind of groupset?
It's a 90's aluminium entry-level roadie, so I'm not sure where to go.
