>>1512262> https://bikepacking.com/gear/sram-eagle-review/Why would you link to a review that literally supports what I have been saying (it also answers the question you posted a while ago)? The mech was broken and the reviewer did not know how to properly set up and maintain it.
> yeah pretty clearly you don't know shit I do. I have put enough time in on NX, GX, and XO to understand that all the eagle mechs work perfectly fine if you know how to set up and maintain them. The moment you don't do this or damage them, shifting performance goes to shit.
> see, you could have made a nice little sale for sramWhy would I care if Sram makes money? They have spent the last few years being the OEM group set of choice for MTB and will probably continue being because they have a model for every price point and have a proven record of making a functional group set.
Me trying to convince you to buy sram goes against the point that I was trying to make. Sram v Shimano both produce high quality, functional 1x12 group sets. Outside of professional riders looking for marginal gains, there is no real difference between the two. Buy the group set that you want, don't buy the group set that some anonymous poster on the board says. Think for yourself, you trog.
