I know it's not steel, but it is a 95 Cannondale 'Beast of the East' race bike and it was the best frame I could find for housing this wheelset. I am looking for a German made steel tubed frameset with very similar dimensions to this so in a sense it's a placeholder frame, having said that - Holy shit aluminium is light, it's my first ever alu frame and I'm really not a fan of the excessive stiffness and lack of compliance but it's still a lot of fun to ride.
