I dont wear one on my daily commutes on the townbike because there is no point with the slow speed and general relaxedness of those rides. I absolutely wear one when im out on the road bike or on the mountainbike, going fast and all that. I see tons of roadbikers here not wearing helmets, stupid cunts. I had an innocent slip at high speed last fall on the roadbike and smashed my helmeted head on the road, resulted in a concussion and being useless for 2 months. I dont want to think what would have happened had I not worn a helmet.
