Why dont I see any more of those, bash not only does protect chainrings, but keeps the chain on together with FD...and that is even without adding the chainguide mounted on the BB, if you ad a chainguide and/or a RD with a clutch chances of chaindrop are very low, but it all went out of fashion since muh radavist. mtbers are the same as roadies, let noone tell you otherwise.
