Here's Galloping Goose 7 in operation, an unusual DIY train from the USA. These were a series of really strange truck-bus-train things built starting in the 1930s for Rio Grande Southern Railroad. The railroad was not very good when it started and they used to run slow steam trains. In order to keep from going bankrupt and stay alive, they developed these weird vehicles that would run on their narrow gauge lines to deliver mail through different towns in rural Colorado.
Galloping Goose 7 was specifically made out of a Pierce-Arrow Motor Car truck and then had some sort of body attached. Others were made out of old Buick trucks.
