Bikes ride 10...20 km/h. Buses drive 50...70 km/h, pass intersections through red lights and generally act recklessly to follow their time schedule. They also have right of way to change lanes when exiting a bus stop. Anyway, this is a bad idea even if you have polite bus drives since it would cause a massive slowdown in bus traffic which can lead to people preferring car transport instead.
