it's relatively easy if you know how to fix your bike.
it's not "simple" if you have never even changed a BB. There are plenty of things that will need to be adapted and modified.
THE EASIEST way is to buy a kit for the front wheel and live with it. Thy have started popping out everywhere here in Italy, i guess they are a common fashion in the west world nowadays. I think thy are more easily available to LBS.
