In the ambulance service there are many problems with moving patients though doorways and hallways + up and down stairs
at most there are only two officers per ambulance, so for patients that are a four or six (sometimes eight) man lift we have to wait for the fire department to help
the worst part is the health system has a massive backlog that delays essential medical intervention for so long that people deteriorate beyond repair
and that the hospital pharmacy and ambulance all maintain separate databases to keep a track of what medicine people are taking
so its a pita to find out what pills people are taking to avoid over prescription and contraindications
