>>1821454Touch ups are really hard to make unnoticeable. The best way is to find a shade of paint (nail polish works, but I have also used Testirs and the auto parts brands).
Apply thin coats very strictly, trying not to get any on the original paint, I’m talking like 10 coats, where each is like 20% opacity.
Then when you have decent coverage, you need to wet sand the new paint to blend in height wise with the old paint. (Which is why you try to avoid getting it on the old paint)
Then once the new paint and old paint are flush, yes a high gloss clear coat (a rattle can), to make it all uniform
I’d say practice on a a junk part a few times
It’s mostly not worth the time and effort
