>>2004822Turns out I did not have a dented freehub, but a loose freehub bearing because the freehub has a hole that is too large (almost 0.1mm) for the bearing, so it made horrible sounds as the back wheel turns. Jammed a piece of can in there and it's now quiet. I think the bearing dug into the freehub body due to vibration from riding on cobblestone.
