Currently on entry level OneUp composites with 18k miles on them, bearings still feel solid. Previously I have CrankBros Stamp 1, bearing failure at about 15k miles. Before that a RockBros copy of the Stamp 1 which experienced bearing failure at 2k miles. And before that some Nashbar generic mtb flats that didn't fail but the nylon pins wore out from curb rash. And before that some Performance Bicycle generic value brand alloy mtb flats that eventually went through bearing failure like every one of my pedals. I like composite mtb flats with steel pins because pedals to me are consumables and alloy flats are too extra, plus the special bearings are unobtanium anyways.
I really like the OneUps I'm rocking right now but the platform is a little too wide for my taste. I like the size of the Stamp 1 a lot but I'm still determining if 15k miles is a good service life since it's only been recently I've been logging the mileage of my components.
