Their eccentricity is significant, i still don't understand how front derailleurs can be totally fine with it.
Also i didn't remember cantilever to be that good. Mine are set up "at best", the moment arm is totally not optimal: in the front there is a mounting point that i can't be bothered to remove, and in the beck they are already in the way of my tights when descending, i can't let them overhang even more. Yet, they are fine. I have just descended 18 km of a 10% grade and at the end it was like nothing had just happened.
