This is what Manhattan looks like at 11 am today (mid-day) and a car will still be faster than a bicycle. The only time bicycle beats a car in terms of speed would be a distance of a mile or less. If this what Manhattan looks like other cities would probably have similar numbers or a greater discrepancy.
