>>1951496don't forget demolishing the Orange Line El and replacing it with a shitty "BRT" service. My dad used to work for the T back in the 70s and 80s and it's a joke compared to then.
>let a Green Line branch go to Nubian, should be feasible with the aformentioned doubling of tracks)Ideally they'd reuse the outer tracks at Boyleston for a line down Washington street to Nubian, and then down Blue Hill to Mattapan (and by extension to Ashmont). makes more sense, since Mattapan's already set up for light rail.
and why is every subway so slow now? I haven't been in Boston since I was 13 and watching recent videos has me wondering what crack addicts they're hiring for drivers. the red line used to do 45 across Longfellow all day. now it creeps along at like 25 tops.
>99% of people prefer direct services over heritage rolling stock.they COULD do what Philly and TTC does and keep them around and run them on weekends as Heritage cars, but that would be cool and maybe even cost a little money, and we can't have that in today's day, now can we?
