And I'd never get a reclining seat except to travel really cheap. The train itself is 10/10, but I prefer a cheap berth in a shared cabin, not for comfort but because it's cheap while still offering a place to sleep. I don't need much comfort to sleep, just a flat surface, but I can't do with reclining seats, since I sleep face down. Some Trenhotel trains like the international ones used to have shared rooms with 4 berths, those are cheaper and comfy enough, but on the trains from Barcelona to Galicia they're not available. The Estrella trains were the best in that regard, dirt cheap six-berth rooms, cost me 40 euros from Barcelona to Madrid, 28 if I got a discount ticket. In their heyday they had a whole variety of classes, from the cheapest berths and seats, to better berths and even rooms with showers.
