The area between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur could be totally developed into a massive megalopolis with just a few strategic investments. There’s already a line running down the center (eg between KL and Segamat and Kluang), but regional rail for freight and commuters and two major limited/express HSR lines linking Kuantan with KL and JB Senai Airport to KLIA with just three stops in between would be crucial. The Yong-Hitam stop probably isn’t necessary to be honest. So that’s just Senai (JB Airport), Tangkak (serves malacca, muar and segamat), Seremban (university and tech hub), and finally KLIA.
