Today I took apart the cranks on my Rockhopper and then pulled apart the bottom bracket because it was creaking so I regreased and now it's fine. But when I took apart the cranks I took the front derailleur off and now that I've put it back on I cannot for the life of me get it to shift properly, spent like 3 hours trying to get it right today but I just couldn't get it, pretty sure I'm retarded. Are derailleurs usually this hard? Also now my cable is all frayed at the end and looks pretty fucked up.
