I ride mostly hard packed fire roads that range from flat, to completely washed out and gnarly as fuck. Some trails I've always avoided cuz Hardtail, and other are too boring. I'm thinking about trying out a 27.5+ that can also accept 29". What would you guys do?
Trails are all around southern California. Max budget of ~$900-1000 new. Not set on any brand, or tire size, or fs/hardtail. I want comfy though for sure. I need to save my knees and lower back.
