I just ordered a new pair of shifters for my old steel road bike. They're from some Chinese brand (sensah 7 speed) that have the aestetics of modern Shimano shifters.
I have some ergo dropbars, and I was wandering if compact dropbars would have a better look considering the modern look of the shifters.
What are your thoughts on them? Do you like better ergo or compact dropbars? Is there any good advantage from one over another?
Pic related is the bike. Old capagnolo 8 speed are semi-compatible with 7 speed Shimano, that's why I run a 7spd freewheel.

How are those shifters working? Just ordered a 7speed pair and I'd appreciate any thoughts on the brand/mechanism. Quite excited since the shimagnolo conversion wasn't an ultimate solution and the shifters were cheap and with a modern look.

Here's mine, I've changed the pedals for a pair of flat pinned rockbros, and I got a cheap headbadge from AliExpress too.
