Large saddles on bikes just move weight around and make sure that most of it ends up in soft tissued rather than on your sit bones. Common beginner mistake.
You did fine as long as you get out to ride.
I'm 210 in the winter to cultivate mass or some crap. You aren't in any kind of special needs category at your weight.
