>>1356962banjo bolts on the hydro lever ?
does the master cylinder not suffer from a lack of volume compared to the slave's ?
>>1356983>broke chainwhy not just discard the broken link then rejoin the chain ?
most people worry about it failing again but this takes awhile
is that a smartcage I spy ? that should allow 34 tooth as a large sprocket
and yea if your old chain was elongated it may have worn down into the rear sprockets so that the teeth are shallow and their tips are further apart
the new chain may be sitting too high on the teeth of your old sprockets
some visual inspection is due
ideal tooth wear will be symmetrical and pointy (big mileage on sprocket but not ridden with the chain link plates cut deeply into the roller bushing)
next best is that the teeth wear into shallow symmetrical crescent shapes (chain got too long but rider kept going)(from then on only that chain will work with that sprocket)
worst are teeth shaped like a breaking wave or a shark tooth (rider put too much torque into the gear)(no chain will work)(sprocket is fucked)
>>1357008really trash frames have no canter lever posts on the rear triangle
the front fork is easy to change to have disk brakes, and front wheels are cheaper to buy
>>1357145why not have it all ?
drum and disk brake on each axle +hub motor with regenerative braking
+two rim brakes per fork and chain/seat stay
.eg six rim brakes or eight if you have a Peugeot mixte
only thing left is reverse thrust from micro turbines
and deplorable air brakes and parachute
