>>1028979The "center city connector" will make the streetcars more useful by connecting the two short lines. It'll be great for tourists, anyway. It will also have exclusive right of way on 1st avenue, finally, which it definitely needs.
Someday I hope they extend the 1st ave section to lower Queen Anne, put a line from Jackson St down Rainier, and go up both Eastlake to UW and Westlake to Fremont/Wallingford. Then the streetcar would awesome and would compliment the light rail 'subway' pretty well. Seattle always does everything in tiny piecemeal segments.
