So I wanted to ask whether I should go for bikepacking bags or a rear rack and panniers if bags are a meme?
I'll be taking the trip with my gf, that's two bikes, my gravel bike and she on my old road bike. The must cumbersome things are going to be the tent and the sleeping pad. I am planning on attaching the tent, which is in an oblong bag when folded, under the top tube of one of the bikes and the inflatable sleeping pad to the handlebars like a bikapacking bag. So the next question is: Is attaching stuff like that with picrelated belts a good idea?
