I've been in many accidents where people just for no reason change direction infront of me and I fly over my handlebars. No head injury.
I guess I'm lucky because I have wide shoulders and I always hit the ground on my side first and my instict is to always protect my head when I fall.
I'll never ride my bike without my helmet.
Don't feel like wearing a helmet? I hope you're lucky whenever you accidently hit your head after falling 2 meters into the concrete.
