Parabolic mirrors, concentrating lens and more robust solar solutions have massive power output, but they don't fit inside a car. But they are based on converting heat to electricity and getting heat on a car can be easy both from the inside and out, combustion engines, air conditioning, external area exposed to the sun, battery cooling systems, .... all emit heat.
