CIM is pretty good, you can adjust your own timetables, your own fares, create fare zones, balance running costs over vehicle age and so on. Pretty in depth. Plus, if you connect parts of a city well enough, it will grow a bit like it does in CS.
Have any of you played Transport Fever? I think it's a little broken, but it's an interesting game for transport nerds like us.
