>>1559254Depends on the type of riding you're doing and the type of tires, but try lowering your pressure usually you can go lower in the front because it generally revives less abuse. But even with full DH tires and 20 psi you can often loose traction pedaling up or descending. Its a matter of technique and recognizing where you can and cant ask for more traction than the ground can supply.

If you want to progress your riding ability much faster than may otherwise be possible shuttling or days at the park are the way to go. But if you want to ride trails that maybe aren't accessible by car or lift you can pedal. But if you're riding primarily for fitness it makes way more sense to pedal, while a full day of bike park is usually quite taxing pedaling will always suit fitness better. To each their own, can't tell anyone how they should enjoy the sport. But remember, free ride never dies.
