I have practically zero experience at sea, and am approaching 30. I would love to some day do a short stint offshore but as far as I can gather you need a fuck ton of training, permits and other technical mathematical shit before you will ever be allowed near a ship.
The only thing I have going for me really is being a paramedic. That's always a plus I guess.
Probably too old though. Feels bad man.
