As you may know, the city center interchange station has been moved from the market square to Aurakatu. It's super tight but surprisingly last winter didn't cause any problems. How ever, the ridership certainly saw a drop, we'll see if it rebounds any now that people have gotten used to to the exception conditions that are the building of a new parking hall right under the market square.
Btw, as a tangent: is building massive parking garages under market squares a thing elsewhere?
