A good cycling backpack will have mesh and air channeling on the back to help keep you cool (when cycling your back is your primary radiator, cover it with a bag and you will be miserable), and will fit somewhat differently than a hiking backpack does. I use a Deuter Race EXP Air. It's pretty nice, even after a few hours
