I have two mini velos with 20inch 406 wheels that I use to climb local steep slopes which are plenty here in HK. They have RD 3500 Sora so they have 11-32 cassettes. One bike has compact the other regular 53 39 cranks with square taper bb.
Now on longer rides the gears are not low enough for me and I also want to get my gf more into climbing - I decided to go all the way and use a 22T chainring. Double cranksets are much more expensive than triples, so I decided to go with FC-M3000 Acera 40-30-22 to reuse my square bb and using a deore FD, alternatively I'd be fine going with the FC-M4000 too.
But some online seller tell me these cranks won't fit my mini bike without giving a reason. Any pointers from./n/?
Tl;dr is there a reason why acera or alivio triple cranksets won't fit my 20 inch mini bike?
