>>1280169Depth of Field, an optical effect giving the feel of distance in photo. It's probably an automatic AI generated DoF due to how bad it's applied but this is what phones do these days to give the effect of distance but AI can't properly detect foreground and background so it comes out uncanny. This could easily be noticed in the saddle, brake lines, and frame in this example. Proper optical induced DoF would separate foreground and background by pure light physics alone by manipulating aperture size, exposure time, and ISO.
One can edit DoF into a photo using Gaussian blur filters in a photo editor but to make convincing and realistic looking DoF would require lots of time manually cutting, layering, and applying the blur filter properly. AI generated DoF still can't do this on the same detail a human can but a human would require significant amounts of time in an intricate photo. Like having to cut around the coils in that saddle would be a complete pain in the ass to apply a blue filter for. Part of the frame was also included in the blue when it shouldn't have.
