There's a lamp mount brazed onto the fork, apparently this was quite common BITD. No idea how old lamps would attach, I had to adapt the clamp on that modern handlebar mount to get it to sit securely.
I imagine it'll be decent for lighting the road ahead, and less clutter for the cockpit's always good. There are a few modern versions of this using mounts that screw into rack braze-ons. even seen lamps mounted to the front wheel axle, which has to be too low to be effective.
