I wish I lived next to a legit heritage railway. Closest thing I have is this:
It's a newish line in Tampa, Florida, with new cars made to look old, and they have one legit historic one that's taken out rarely. It has pitiful numbers, though. About 3 miles long and gets around 600 riders per day.
