Or pickup some steaks and a bottle of wine and a loaf of bread somewhere. Or a box of beers. That kind of shop makes absolute sense on a bicycle. That stuff all fits in my basket.
I could and sometimes do drive too but it's not really more efficient and it's fun to cycle to do a bit of shopping.
And when you shift your shopping to smaller more frequent shops you can save money and eat better and waste less.
