Took this half way through yesterday's 300. The night before I realized having the headlight on the bars was just going to illuminate the front bag, so I finally got around to installing the Problem Solvers braze-on light mount. Then I discovered I'd have to mount the light upside down, so I had to flip my diy light shroud. Without the shroud the light is unusable on the road without blinding oncoming traffic.
On the rack I'm using a small tool bag I got for $14 and sewed some straps onto. Its got one of those doctors bag style closures that forms a triangle which reduces its capacity quite a bit. But its much lighter than the big Velo Orange bar bag I have for longer rides.
With a little luck my dynamo hub parts will arrive early enough this week that I can build the wheel in time for next week's 400.
