I've been looking over Hong Kong since it's been on the news lately and I've been playing a chink weeb game, it's actually pretty aesthetic and nice.
I was amazed at the fact that there are literally no suburban areas anywhere in the city, literally every single residential and business area is made up of 3+ stories high buildings, and despite that from what I've read even the unsubsidized rent is pretty cheap on average (<300U$D).
How do they do it? I tough tall buildings automatically equated to higher rent prices.
