>>1145598Almost all the ice on the MUP disappeared today. I added extra studs down the center of my rear tire. Much more grip much more noise. Not much louder on pavement, but on ice it sounds like someone wringing a sheet of bubble wrap enough to drown out vehicle noise. Tomorrow I'll take the tire off and reinforce the area behind the studs with patches otherwise its just a matter of time before I get a flat. The studs have an auger base with a sharp tip.
