I'm looking at cheap bikes but the reviews for anything less than 500$ make me want to pick up something from a thrift store and refurbish it myself with the help of youtube tuts and bike forums.
Anybody have any experience with cheap bikes from the big box as an adult that could recommend something that won't fall apart on my first couple rides? I get that a bike like that has to deal with mostly kids putting them together, so I should tighten screws and whatnot, but 4rl4rl
