Commuter rail on the only rail line, about as far as is sensible. Probably would make sense to have urban style frequent service to Ate/Santa Clara, so that on that stretch it works almost like a metro line, and less frequent further than that.
I've also proposed a short extension on the Callao side, a short 1.6km extension that would be in a viaduct (or tunnel) and reach into the urban area. That would greatly augment the usefulness of the rail line in reaching Callao.
Lines in strong color are Metro lines, the light pastel colors (light green, light purple, light blue, light pink) are BRT, or LRT whatever. Medium level of service lines, in any case.
