thanks anons. i appreciate the thoughts and suggestions. my heart is still heavy over this material loss, it was more than just a bike for me, its a whole different experience riding tandem with someone close. im disappointed in being unable to replace it, it was a small fortune to have gotten into it anyway.

the lady and i just had some mini tours all planned out ; _ ; too much bs otherwise going on top of this thats taking a toll on my cope-capacity.
