>cars are big, lumbering abominations which are impossible to work on without 60 permits, can't build a replica of an antique car in my shithole of a country, basically Japan-tier restrictions on car modification
>electric is boring, soulless trash, with nothing to work on in the first place, genuinely a black box / toy of a transport option, two camps are - extremely overpriced garbage with shit range (electric cars), or extremely dangerous garbage with shit range (monowheels / scooters / etc.)
>bicycles are wonderful in theory, easy to work on, and don't need to be registered, but are literal suicide machines
>all the four-wheel pedal vehicle projects never get made, many have the same regulatory issues
Wanted to build a cyclecar, pic related, but guess what, it's fucking banned.
It boggles my mind that people complain about "Y-YOU CAN ONLY HAVE 10 DIFFERENT HAIRCUTS IN NORTH KOREA", when in the West, your only options for 90% of your life are restricted to ~10 or so manufacturers pumping out dogshit.
>electric car - GM, Tesla, or Ford
>normal car - handful of manufacturers producing retarded, identical-looking bubbles
>motorcycle - sportshit, 80s bike, or Harley - also suicide vehicle
Only variety that exists is in cycling, and again, cycling on a country road is fucking suicide.
The other options are UTVs / ATVs, and three-wheelers.
I'm just going to ride a horse and wagon, fuck this shit.
