Front wheel first, can't get any part of my frame, usually. Back wheel first and it's maybe a third of these that actually allow a ulock to grab frame. Maybe it's just the part of my country, but these are literally from the 40s where kids didn't even lock up, they were just there to keep them stood up. (Or the designed hasn't changed since then.)
Every time I see these, the one bike that's there is always locked to the outer edge, or completely behind the rack, long-wise., outside the rack, so that tells you something.
Shit like this is more practical with less space taken up
