>>1243548I think that they are both good but the 747 wins if only because it doesn't require specialized gates and it has been a proven design for 49 years, soon to be 50 in February 9th. A380 on the other hand is a gorgeous aircraft and has raised the standards of Aviation by a bit and it's grand size and range is it's best features. That and I feel like I would more likely get a type-rating for the A380 than the 747 due to the amount of orders on the aircraft.
