Hey anons, got multiple questions for ya:
1. I have a gravel bike. Its the first bike with this kind of seating arrangement that I've ever had. Is it normal that my neck starts hurting after 1-2 hours of cycling?. My head is on the large side, so maybe it's straining my neck too much?. I have tried tucking my chin, but I feel some discomfort in my eyes if I "look up" as much as I need to in order to continue seeing the road ahead.
2. Are ortlieb panniers a fucking meme? I got me some and I've had two failures in a relatively short amount of actual usage... however, these shits are everywhere around here.
3. I want to go on a cycling tour later this spring. I would be OK with cycling hard 2-3 hours and then just chilling or whatever, but I would be doing it with my wife. She is quite inconsistent in her power output, and mostly goes slow. Sitting on a gravel bike for too long is not comfortable on my arms / shoulders / neck. Would it be acceptable to invert the stem for such occasions so that I raise the handlebars a little?
4. My gravel/touring/everything bike will soon become my commuter bike too. I will sometimes need to leave it outside for short periods of time. Any lock suggestions for such bikes? I was looking at something like an ABUS Bordo, but it seems flimsy compared to solid chains. Since it's a bit on the pricier side to me, i'd like to take care of it.
